WHO WE ARE
MO People is a non-partisan political action committee that asks questions to candidates for school board. We then post the questions and answers online for the public to see. Our desire is for voters to have reliable information when they need it to make good decisions for their community.
GET TO KNOW YOUR SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATES BEFORE YOU VOTE
MO People believes voters should have access to the policy positions of candidates. We understand how challenging it can be to find that information. School Board candidates are relatively unknown to search engines. So, trying to find information on them is difficult and finding out what their policy positions are is even more challenging. Which is why most voters have had the experience of looking at their ballot and asking the question: “Who the heck is that?” If voters don’t know who the candidates are, the chances of them knowing their policy positions looks similar to the odds of winning the lottery jackpot. That is how we end up with the wrong people in positions of power.
